Weight Loss Revision or Conversion Surgery
Surgery for the revision or conversion of previous weight loss surgery may become necessary for a variety of reasons. This type surgery is not only extremely specialized, but also technically challenging, and must be performed by a surgeon such as Dr. Sergio Verboonen who is highly experienced in weight loss surgery.
Revision or a conversion surgery is more complex and has a greater risk for complications than the primary procedure. Dr. Sergio Verboonen performs revision or conversion surgery after extensive evaluation of the patient. The decision to operate is made on an individual basis.
